Placing the registration sticker on an antique plate

A: All registration expiration stickers belong in the bottom right-hand side of the plate. While you may see some plates that have them scattered all over the plate, the correct spot is the bottom right-hand side of the plate.

All the new "Ocean" reissuance plates have their registration expiration sticker pre-printed on them to remind vehicle owners of the correct placement of the sticker when they renew their registration the next time.

Reminder to all the residents who have the blue “Wave” plate and renew their registration: When the plates arrive in the mail, please make sure you verify that all the information on your new “Ocean” plates is correct.

Also, don’t forget to take out your new “Registration Certificate” that is also in the envelope. It is printed on the backside of the mailing label.

All Commercial and Combination plates — that are due each March — should now have the “Ocean” plate on their vehicle and not the blue “Wave” plate. Check your registration certificate to make sure you have renewed your registration.
