Destiny 2: All Deck of Whispers Cards (& How They Work)
There is a total of 55 Major and Minor Arcana cards to collect for the Deck of Whispers in Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch. Here are all of them.
Obtaining all the Deck of Whispers cards in Destiny 2 will be a season-long endeavor as the game makes new content available weekly. The new card-based mechanic was introduced with Season of the Witch, also known as Season 22. While you do not actually use them for a card game per si, you do collect up to 55 cards that compose a single deck. They are divided into two distinct categories: Major and Minor Arcana cards. These cards have various effects, from gifting items, such as Enhancement Cores, to actual effects on gameplay during Season of the Witch activities, namely Savathûn’s Spire and Altars of Summoning.
With 55 claimable cards to obtain for the Deck of Whispers, the grind will be extended throughout the several weeks of Season 22. In fact, many of the cards in Destiny 2 are time-locked behind weekly resets, which gradually introduce new story missions and content altogether. This includes some of the Major and Minor Arcana cards. As you progress through the new content each week, the Opaque Cards you obtain have a chance of becoming newly added cards to the Deck of Whispers.

As was previously mentioned, the cards from Deck of Whispers are divided into two distinct categories: Major and Minor Arcana cards. Major Arcana cards are much more limited and can provide timely gameplay benefits during the seasonal activities in Season of the Witch. When starting encounters in Savathûn’s Spire or Altars of Summoning in Destiny 2, you have a chance of pulling a random Major Arcana card into play – because of this, the extra effects will also be randomized with every run. These bonuses are not permanent and have a limited duration in activities. There are 12 different Major Arcana cards.
To create a Deck of Whispers for activities, you must own at least five Major Arcana cards. To obtain them, you must not only have Opaque Cards converted into a Major Arcana but also complete a short side quest that will fully unlock the card’s potential. The Sisters card, for instance, requires defeating 25 Hive opponents in Savathûn’s Spire or Altars of Summoning. After that is done, it will be unlocked in Destiny 2’s Athenaeum, where it can be added to a deck for a chance of being pulled during seasonal activities. This is, of course, provided that you have at least five Major Arcana cards to build a deck.
On the other hand, Minor Arcana compose the larger portion of the cards. Out of the 55 available cards, 43 are Minor Arcana. These cards provide more immediate and less important effects and cannot be added to a Deck of Whispers. By transforming an Opaque Card into a Minor Arcana, you can unlock seasonal bonuses, such as a weapon pull with a guaranteed Deepsight Mod, or even items, like Enhancement Cores or Witch’s Keys. These Destiny 2 cards can also allow you to redraw Major Arcana from your Deck of Whispers during an activity, as well as give you a chance to drop Red War weapons.
